Studio Shores is our virtual backlot in the Second Life world dedicated to machinima production. At Studio Shores we can stage any scene, cast any character and film any activity imaginable.


The Second Life® tools for building, scripting and avatar customization give us the ability to replicate settings from the real world or create new ones that are as far removed from reality as our imagination allows.  Plus, there are thousands of elaborate pre-existing locations in the Second Life world:  cities, beaches, stadiums, shopping centers, golf courses, nightclubs, race tracks, medieval communities, fantasy lands and more.

 

Using the system’s flexible building and capturing tools, we create, compose and film hi-def footage in the virtual realm.   Having our own private island allows us to achieve a high frame rate and smooth recording.
